Emerging countries and international security
Abstract
International relations theory is focussed in the relations among great powers. Nevertheless Brazil and the so-called emmerging countries are situated in an intermediate layer which shows particular dynamics of influence and complementary, replacement and reative aspirations. This debate is located in the center of international re-arrangements like IBSA, the G4 and determinates the focus about the Security Council reform. Likewise emmerging countries aspiring to the council present great disparities in their realities. Notwithstanding the process of emmergence of Russia with a more aggressive character, politicaly centralizing to an autocracy turns into an element inspiring concern in this process of change which will probably lead to a multipolar reconfiguration of the world.
